CIESZYĆ SIĘ ROSNĄĆ OSIĄGNĄĆ Formalna ścieżka | KS4 | Lata 10-11 Seniorzy Studenci tego wydziału kontynuują naukę umiejętności funkcjonalnych w zakresie liczenia, umiejętności czytania i pisania oraz ICT, uzyskując kwalifikacje z tych przedmiotów. Studenci zdobywają szereg innych kwalifikacji w ramach programów ASDAN i BTEC, a także mają możliwość ukończenia kursu zawodowego w College'u jedno popołudnie w tygodniu. Nacisk położony jest na umożliwienie zdobycia umiejętności niezbędnych do wejścia w dorosłość, w tym uczenia się związanego z pracą i umiejętności życiowych. Istnieje maksymalnie pięć możliwości zdobycia doświadczenia zawodowego, nagrody księcia Edynburga, wolontariatu społecznego i rozwijania umiejętności w zakresie przedsiębiorczości.

CIESZYĆ SIĘ ROSNĄĆ OSIĄGNĄĆ Raport z inspekcji Szkoła Le Murier była ostatnio kontrolowana przez Education Scotland w 2015 r. w ramach procesu VSSE. Inspekcję przeprowadził zespół inspektorów HM, którzy spędzili w szkole trzy dni, obserwując lekcje, rozmawiając z uczniami i przyglądając się ich pracy, angażując się w dyskusje z personelem i rodzicami, przeglądając dokumentację szkolną i inną dokumentację oraz analizując odpowiedzi na kwestionariusze przed walidacją. We encourage children to take pride in their appearance and to be proud of wearing their School Uniform. Our school uniform is as follows: white shirt or polo shirt black Sweatshirt black trousers/joggers/shorts/skirt/skort black Blazer (optional) purple Tie (optional) Hair & Jewellery: For safety reasons the following apply: students with long hair should have a hair band. only stud earrings are permitted (no hoops, no face piercings etc) necklaces are not permitted no extreme hairstyles or colours. no false nails or gel coatings students may wear a wristwatch Note: S ixth Form students are not required to wear uniform. The dress code for those students is smart/casual. PE, Swimming & Outdoor Kits Physical development is an important part of the students' learning. It is important that students are dressed appropriately with suitable clothing for all physical activities so that they can participate safely and comfortably. Students need the following for physical activities... Students are allowed to wear mufti on Fridays. This needs to be appropriate casual clothing suitable for all learning environments. If clothing is not suitable we will contact parents/carers and request that they bring in suitable clothing. This is part of a student request/voice raised and voted on by 98%, however should your child not want to wear mufti and remain in a form of uniform (some students do( this is absolutely fine as well. We encourage students to extend their learning by providing opportunities to reinforce what they are doing in school. All students have access to a range of digital learning platforms and have individual logins for these. This may also be supplemented by more formal activities. In Years 7&8 there is also an interactive Home Learning Portal with suggestions/advice for extending learning beyond school. It's matched to student ability and presented in an engaging 'Rock Star' style.
