Mental Health & Wellbeing Our goal is always to help students become independent and empower them to make decisions in a safe manner. Besides all staff, the Inclusion Team, ELSAs (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and Mental Health and Wellbeing First Aiders take pride in adapting their skills and knowledge to provide bespoke support to students. In some cases, this includes supervision from the Educational Psychologist. We use a variety of tailored strategies such as individual sessions, Zones of Regulation, Decider Skills, CBT (Think Feel Do), social clubs, breakfast meet and greets, soft starts, 'breaks' (sensory, emotional regulation, movement or other) and attachment-friendly approaches. Additionally, our school dog, Maverick, plays a nurturing role in providing comfort and support to our students (and staff)! There are resources available to parents, carers, staff and students on various sites including NSPCC and also TOGETHERNESS (what was called The Solihull Approach). Information can be found here If you are worried ... It’s essential that no student feels isolated or alone in their feelings. The message we want to convey is that it’s perfectly okay to talk about and express how you’re feeling. Let’s encourage students to reach out and seek the support they need. We can provide advice, guidance, signposting, and referrals to other agencies. We are here to support one another. Remember, your feelings are important, and it's brave to talk about them! Talk About It: Find a safe space to share how you're feeling. It could be with a parent, friend or an adult who cares about you. Ask for Help: If you're feeling really upset, it's okay to ask for help. There are people who want to support you. Take Your Time: You don't have to share everything all at once. Just talking about one thing can help. Know It's Okay: Everyone has tough days, and it's completely normal to feel this way sometimes. Find Activities You Love: Doing things you enjoy, like drawing, playing sports, or spending time with friends, can help you feel better.

CIESZYĆ SIĘ ROSNĄĆ OSIĄGNĄĆ Środki Formalna ścieżka | KS3 | Lata 7-9 W Middles stosujemy holistyczne podejście do nauki, a uczniowie są pogrupowani według ich potrzeb edukacyjnych, społecznych i emocjonalnych. Wszyscy uczniowie mają bazę grup korepetytorów, aby budować pozytywne relacje z personelem, a w niższych KS3 pozostają w tych grupach w zakresie umiejętności czytania i pisania/matematyki. W pozostałych obszarach przedmiotowych uczniów wspiera zespół pedagogów specjalistycznych. Realizujemy program tematyczny dotyczący projektu, skupiający się na naukach humanistycznych lub ścisłych, ale jest on wzmocniony poprzez włączenie go do innych obszarów tematycznych. Oprócz głównego programu nauczania uczniowie mają szereg możliwości uczenia się, w tym poprzez kluby lunchowe/po lekcjach, domy mieszkalne i inne zajęcia wzbogacające. W całym Middles naszym celem jest pomóc uczniom stać się bardziej niezależnymi, wspierać pozytywne nastawienie do nauki i siebie nawzajem oraz rozwijać umiejętności kształcenie ustawiczne.

CIESZYĆ SIĘ ROSNĄĆ OSIĄGNĄĆ PTA szkoły Baubigny Stowarzyszenie Rodziców Nauczycieli szkoły Baubigny składa się z rodziców i przyjaciół uczniów z Le Murier i St Sampson High School. W skład grupy wchodzą także pracownicy obu szkół. Spotykamy się regularnie, aby planować wydarzenia związane ze zbiórką funduszy na projekty szkolne. Zapraszamy wszystkich rodziców do przyłączenia się. Komisja ciężko pracuje, aby zebrać fundusze dla wszystkich studentów na terenie kampusu. CIESZYĆ SIĘ ROSNĄĆ OSIĄGNĄĆ After School and Lunchtime Clubs Every day, we create an exciting and vibrant atmosphere for our students during lunchtime, offering a diverse range of clubs that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal growth. With 30 minutes to enjoy their meals followed by another 30 minutes to dive into a variety of engaging activities, students can choose from options such as outdoor play, quiet games, football skills, computer club, choir, modelling, and social clubs tailored for different groups. We encourage our students to express their interests and suggest new clubs, ensuring that their voices are heard and valued. In addition to our lunchtime offerings, we provide several after-school clubs that serve as fantastic enrichment opportunities, allowing students to further explore their passions and develop new skills. These clubs are run by dedicated staff on a voluntary basis, showcasing their commitment to enhancing our students' experiences. We're also thrilled to partner with the Guernsey Sport's Commission, which supports some of our clubs with specialist coaches, bringing expert guidance and inspiration to our students. Currently, our after-school clubs include: Football: Enhance your skills and teamwork on the pitch! Hockey: Join us for fast-paced fun and strategic play! Climbing: Challenge yourself and conquer new heights! Swimming: Dive into fitness and improve your technique! These clubs not only foster individual development but also strengthen friendships and build a sense of community among our students.
